The new Counter's Creek line-up

Very excited to announce the addition of a new band member in 2022: the very talented Ben Cox on vocals, whistles, flute and harmonium! We have lots of new tunes as well as songs that Ben has brought along - both original and traditional songs from the English/Irish/Scottish tradition. Expect uptempo reels and jigs, heart-wrenching ballads and songs, 4 part harmony and a lot of different instruments on stage!

Debut Album

Our debut album 'The Careful Placement of Stones' is now available to download or purchase on CD! It was recorded at Porcupine Studios in London and features the remarkable percussive talents of Andy Tween on kit, shakers, llamas' toenails & triangle alongside the regular line-up of whistles, violin & guitar. Not forgetting Tom's strange octave violin that sounds like a cello or his banjo-playing. Or my piano-playing here & there...
